Health Care assistant/Support Workers Needed in the Colwyn Bay area.
Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are looking for Experienced Care/Support worker to work in Residential Care and Supported living services.
This is a great opportunity for Health Care Assistants/Support Workers who want to make a difference in their career. The role involves providing support to elderly residents who may have Alzheimer's, suffered from strokes, have dementia, require palliative care, learning disabilities, mental health, Autism and other care needs. We are currently looking for experienced Care/Support workers to provide comprehensive Care and Support to service users. Candidates must have previous experience of working as a Health Care assistant in a similar role or environment
There are a range of positions available from full time/part time roles with both days and nights available. Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are flexible and you can build your own rota to suit your individual needs. We have a range of shifts including;
* 8am-8pm – long day shifts
* 8am-2pm – early shifts
* 2pm-8pm – late shifts
* 8pm-8am – night shifts
Sugarman Health & Wellbeing are looking for caring individuals who are able to overcome challenging situations and behaviours. An excellent Health Care/Support Worker needs to have the skills to promote independence, have a patient manner, diffuse confrontations, divert attention and encourage positive behaviours. Although there may be challenging aspects to the role, the opportunity to make a difference far outweighs the challenges.

As a Health Care Assistant Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are looking for;
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Punctual, caring and polite staff with a good attitude and outside the box thinking
* Well rounded communication skills
* To be provided with work history for the past 3 years for referencing purposes
* Candidates to hold an enhanced DBS check that is on the update service or be prepared to have a new DBS undertaken (Free for full time available staff)
